I’ve been waking up early with the sun. I packed up and headed to the Livingston/Paradise KOA. It is cooler here. Yesterday it was 85. The day before – 96. Here near Yellowstone it was 54 when I pulled in and drizzling off and on. I’m typing this on a couch in the laundry room near a big window and see that the sun has popped out. Will feel warmer. Wished I’d waited to set up the tent to let the ground dry a bit. I waited as long as I could and set it up before it started raining a bit, but now the sun is out. You never know. The ground isn’t puddly, so I’m not too concerned.
I headed to Livingston to grab a bite to eat that night, eating at a Mexican restaurant that was very good, then walked around town before heading back to my campsite.
Phil arrives tomorrow. I’ll hit up REI to get better shoes then pick him up at 1:00 PM
