San Marino, San Marino: I think I found photographer’s heaven. I visited the super small country of San Marino because of an Airbnb unit there. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it, and decided I’d only go to San Marino if it was still available when I was ready to book. Fortunately, it was. Well, I had to shift my stay there back one day, but well worth it!
This may have been the most photogenic weekend of my life. Between the castle-y architecture, the high elevation, and fog, it was a sight for the eyes. I was intrigued the whole time I was there. And walking around exploring this walled city at night was just as interesting (and super safe).

I love a room with a view - and the sound of bells (turn on your sound)
You can see where the fog comes up the cliff and disappears into the air
San Marino has two main leaders - two "Captains Regent." I was told this was the two of them but the guard (see next pic) said one of them has to remain in the room at all times, so both wouldn't be out on the balcony at the same time. I've Googled images of both of them and am not sure what to think. Maybe the guy is the leader, but the woman doesn't look like the other leader
