This morning before leaving I walked through Queens Park in Invercargill. I really enjoyed that. It was nice and very large and I didn't see a lot of people there so it was very relaxed. Really great to walk around at my leisure enjoying the place and not having to rush off somewhere. I find I've really enjoyed slowing down at parks and walking through neighborhoods.
After a few hours of walking around and eating my lunch I headed to Te Anau. Te Anau was a place I very much enjoyed when I was here briefly three years ago. I plan to stay here at least a few days for some great hiking in the area. This is where things get real and the New Zealand scenery pops. The internet is also much better than what I've experienced at most of my stops, so I may take advantage of some rainy days to catch up on stuff.
