Today I left Dunedin and drove to Invercargill. Arriving at Invercargill I checked into the campground, then drove a little further south to Bluff, NZ. While some islands off the coast of NZ hold the title for southernmost point in NZ, the town of Bluff is pretty much as far south as you can go on NZ's mainland. So this, of course, was a goal of mine. There wasn't a lot to do in the area, and Bluff was no place I'd want to live (sorry for anyone reading this from Bluff, maybe I'm just not that into industrial cities), but I did enjoy my time there and the few places I did visit. Oh, and I had really good Indian in Invercargill (Bluffians, I can give you the name if you ever want to get away from your three for four restaurants for a bit) and was able to walk around a small but very impressive park afterwards.
This video is of an automated public restroom I came across in Bluff, NZ. Love these things. Some are more automated than others, but all play the same song once you lock the door. I saw one where only the door was automated. The one in the video has everything from the door to the dispensing of toilet paper touchless and automated.
